Built by coaches, tired of gyms that weren't
Pulse Performance Gym opened in Stockport with one idea: a gym should be judged by how well its members are coached, not how much equipment is on the floor.

A reaction to gyms built around footfall, not results
After years coaching in gyms that measured success in membership numbers rather than member outcomes, Aaron Vance set out to build something different: a gym small enough that every member is actually known by name.
That meant capping class sizes, investing in coaches over signage, and building every membership around programming and follow-up rather than just floor access.

Programmed, not improvised
Every session sits inside a plan built weeks in advance, not decided on the spot.
Small enough to coach
We cap numbers deliberately, so every coach can actually watch every set.
Measured progress
Strength, conditioning and body composition tracked properly, not guessed at.
