1. About these terms

These terms apply to any website design or content creation project agreed between you ("the client") and Larkmoor Studio, operated by Connor Stalley.

2. How a project starts

Nothing is purchased directly through this website. A project begins with a free consultation call, after which we agree the exact scope and price with you directly.

3. Deposits

• Website projects: a £150 deposit is required to begin, and counts toward your total project price.
• Content projects: a £75 deposit is required to begin, and counts toward your first month.
• The optional Website Care Plan has no deposit — it's billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime.

4. Refund policy — website projects

Once your deposit is paid and work begins, it is non-refundable — with one exception: once we've completed the site and shown you the finished result live on a call, if you're not happy with it and choose not to proceed, your deposit is refunded in full. This is a one-time decision point at that review call — once you approve the work, or decline it, that decision is final. Files, hosting access and domain access transfer to you only once final payment has been received; before that, you can view the finished site live on the call but don't yet have access to it.

5. Refund policy — content projects

You can cancel a content plan at any time before that month's content has been created and delivered, and any payment for that period will be refunded. Every piece of content is shown to you for approval before it goes out. Once a month's content has been approved and published, that month is considered delivered and is non-refundable — future months can still be cancelled at any time.

6. Website Care Plan

If you take the optional monthly Care Plan for a site we've already built, you agree to provide the access needed (e.g. hosting/CMS login) for us to carry out fixes and updates. You can cancel at any time; no refund is due for the current billing period already in progress.

7. Payment

All deposits and final/balance payments are made via a secure Stripe payment link sent to you directly by us — never collected automatically through this website. We do not see or store your card details.

8. Ownership

You own the final website and/or content once it has been paid for in full. Until that point, all work remains our property.

9. Changes to scope

Significant changes to an agreed project — extra pages, extra content pieces, new features — may involve additional charges, which we'll always agree with you before doing the extra work.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
