Before You Book
How long does a full detail actually take?
A Full Detail is a one-day booking, and The Gloss Package usually needs the car overnight because of ceramic cure time. Maintenance washes are much quicker — usually under an hour while you wait, if that's easier.
Do I need to book, or can I just turn up?
Please book ahead — we work on one vehicle at a time to give each car proper attention, so there's no drop-in bay. Maintenance washes can sometimes be fitted in with a day or two's notice; correction and coating work is usually booked a week or two out.
Is Gloss & Grit mobile, or do I bring the car to you?
We're studio-based at our unit in Poynton. Correction and coating work needs a controlled, dust-free environment to do properly, which isn't something we can guarantee on a driveway — so all work happens in the studio.
