Questions we get asked before booking

Please book ahead — we work on one vehicle at a time to give each car proper attention, so there's no drop-in bay. Maintenance washes can sometimes be fitted in with a day or two's notice; correction and coating work is usually booked a week or two out.

We're studio-based at our unit in Poynton. Correction and coating work needs a controlled, dust-free environment to do properly, which isn't something we can guarantee on a driveway — so all work happens in the studio.

A wax or sealant gives good protection for a few weeks to a few months and is reapplied as part of routine maintenance. A ceramic coating is a chemical bond that lasts years, but it costs more upfront and only works properly over paint that's been corrected first — coating over swirl marks just seals them in.

Most of them, in most cases — but not every mark can be removed without taking off more clear coat than is safe. We check paint depth before starting and will always tell you honestly if something can't be corrected rather than over-polishing to chase a perfect result.

Most of our bookings are daily drivers. A maintenance wash or deep clean keeps a well-used car looking cared for, and even correction work is common on cars that are driven every day rather than kept for shows.

The prices shown are starting points for an average family car. Larger vehicles — SUVs, estates, vans — typically cost a bit more due to surface area and time. We'll always confirm the actual price for your specific vehicle before booking, not after.

Just clear out any personal items and let us know about anything specific — a stain you want us to focus on, a mark you're not sure will come out, or aftermarket parts that need extra care. Nothing else needed on your end.
