Good food, cooked properly, shared well
Ember & Vine Kitchen opened on Millgate with a simple aim: build a restaurant around fire, seasonal produce and a wine list worth staying for, in a room that never feels stuffy.

From an open flame to a full kitchen
The idea for Ember & Vine came from years of cooking over charcoal at pop-ups and market stalls around Greater Manchester — food that tasted better simply because of how it was cooked.
That approach became the foundation of the restaurant: a menu built around fire, seasonal British produce, and a wine list chosen to complement rather than compete with the kitchen.

Cooking with fire
Charcoal and open flame run through the menu, from the simplest side to the main event.
Genuinely seasonal
Menus change through the year rather than staying fixed for the sake of convenience.
Made for gathering
Sharing plates and a relaxed room, built for long dinners with people you like.
